Overview

What the Reolink Video Doorbell WiFi is

The Reolink Video Doorbell WiFi is a smart home security device designed to give homeowners a clear, reliable view of whoever approaches their front door, day or night. Built around a 2K QHD camera sensor, it captures sharp, detailed video footage with a wide 180-degree vertical field of view, ensuring you can see visitors from head to toe as well as packages left on the ground. Integrated infrared night vision allows the doorbell to continue delivering crisp black-and-white footage even in complete darkness, while color night vision options powered by a built-in spotlight help identify faces and details after sundown. The device connects over a 2.4GHz WiFi network, eliminating the need for a separate hub or complicated wiring in many installation scenarios, making it accessible for a wide range of households.

Beyond image quality, the Reolink Video Doorbell WiFi focuses heavily on proactive security features that matter to homeowners concerned about package theft, porch pirates, and unwanted visitors. Its PIR motion sensor detects movement within a customizable range and promptly sends push notifications to your smartphone, while smart detection algorithms differentiate between people, vehicles, and other motion to cut down on false alerts. Two-way audio with noise cancellation lets you speak directly to whoever is at your door through the Reolink app, whether you're warning off a suspicious individual or instructing a delivery driver where to leave a package, even when you're away from home. The doorbell also supports both wired and battery-powered configurations depending on the model variant, giving users flexibility in how they install and power the unit based on their existing home setup.

For storage and ongoing monitoring, the Reolink Video Doorbell WiFi offers multiple options including local storage via microSD card, compatibility with Reolink's NVR systems, and cloud storage plans for those who want offsite backup of their recorded footage. The companion Reolink app centralizes live viewing, event playback, and notification management, and integrates with the broader Reolink ecosystem so the doorbell can work alongside other security cameras for a comprehensive home surveillance setup. Weatherproof housing ensures the doorbell withstands rain, heat, and cold, making it suitable for outdoor installation across varying climates. Altogether, it positions itself as a dependable entry point into smart home security, combining video clarity, real-time alerts, and remote communication into a single device mounted right at your front door.
